In the region Haaglanden, the rides are generally driven according to the taximeter. When you book your trip online or via the app, it is possible to travel at a fixed low rate at Taxi Centrale Haaglanden.
The price for your taxi ride is calculated with a starting rate, a rate per kilometre and per minute during the transfer. All these rates are determined in the taxi law by the Ministry of Transport, Public Works and Water Management, in dutch: het Ministerie van Infrastructuur en Waterstaat.
The driver is allowed to charge a waiting fee if you have agreed to this, before the taxi ride starts. The waiting rate applies, for example, if the taxi driver has to wait when your meeting ends or if you need to be transported to different destinations and the driver has to wait in between. The waiting fee is € 46,29 per 60 minutes.
The rates must be clearly visible on the outside of the taxi. The rates are visible on a rate card, which is placed behind one of the windows of the taxi.
